## the problem
A dated site that needed a facelift
The old site was very dated and no longer presented the business professionally. It needed a facelift.
I built their first site on WordPress about 14 years ago, and rebuilt it in 2026.
## what I did
A simple, fast site with a safe quote form
I did the design, build, copy and launch myself. I rebuilt the site with Astro as a static site hosted on Cloudflare Pages, with no plugins to patch. The quote form runs through Web3Forms, with hCaptcha and a hidden spam trap to keep junk out. Fonts are hosted on the site itself. I also wrote a plain-English privacy policy and terms.
## the result
Finished, live and approved to show
The rebuild is complete, and the owner approved showing it here. Customers get a clean site that works on their phone and a simple way to ask for a quote.
